Book Cover: Estética y Pavos

Estética y Pavos is a book cover illustration I created during my internship at Malas Artes Editorial for Francisca Gata Amate’s novel. The story follows a group of teenage girls and their journey toward aesthetic gymnastics. The title plays with the Spanish word pavos, which refers to the teenage years. I wanted to show the beauty and delicate nature of gymnastics, so I took inspiration from Japanese woodblock prints for the cover design.
