Book Cover: La sombra del juramento

The cover design for La sombra del juramento by María Teresa Granillo Vázquez was created during my illustration internship at Malas Artes Editorial in 2022. The novel is inspired by the author’s family history and is set in early 20th-century Morelia, Mexico. The cover design is based on a historical archival reference photograph of Morelia Cathedral, connecting the cover directly to the setting and period of the story. The book was published by Distrito 93.
