Book Cover: Si la Casualidad lo Permite

Si la casualidad lo permite is a fantasy adventure novel by Javier Lázaro Sanz and Gonzalo López Cerrolaza, published by Malas Artes Editorial in 2022. I created the cover illustration during my internship in Spain. I wanted to capture the book’s strange, surreal and playful atmosphere, so together with the authors, we chose a scene with a character riding a giant ant. I used simple shapes, warm colours and a playful style to bring the unusual world of the story to life.
