Ángel Caído by Dulce López Rodríguez is a book cover illustration inspired by late 19th- and early 20th-century Italian religious and Symbolist sculptures. I created the illustration during my internship at Malas Artes Editorial in Spain. The novel follows a young woman who discovers a secret magical world inhabited by angels, demons, witches, and other supernatural beings. As she becomes caught in a conflict between supernatural forces, she gradually uncovers her own destiny while experiencing a powerful romance.
