Children’s Book Project: Cuando Estemos Muertos

Cuando Estemos Muertos is a book illustration project I developed during my internship at Malas Artes Editorial in Spain. Written by Anaïs Baranda Barrios, the fantasy novel follows Jara and Olmo on their adventures through the afterlife, exploring themes of friendship, memory, and loss. For the project, I created the character designs, book cover artwork, and illustrations inside the book. The visual style combines hand-drawn and digital techniques, with a playful, slightly comic, and humorous approach that reflects the imaginative tone of the story.
